At Farmson Basic Drugs, safety is not just a requirement—it is a responsibility we uphold every single day. As we continue to prioritize the well-being of all our employees and workers, we are excited to announce the upcoming 54th National Safety Week, to be celebrated from March 4th to March 10th, 2025.

This special week is dedicated to raising awareness, promoting best safety practices, and encouraging a safe working environment for everyone. Through a series of engaging activities, competitions, and training sessions, we aim to foster a culture of safety and preparedness across our workplace.

What’s Planned for National Safety Week 2025?

We have a week full of impactful events and activities designed to enhance safety knowledge, encourage participation, and build a more secure working environment. Here’s what’s in store:

📍 March 4, 2025 – Opening Ceremony

• Oath-taking led by Dr. Prashant Shihora
• Inauguration speech by Mr. Sedhu Madhavan
• Vote of thanks by Mr. Ram Krishnan

📍 March 4, 2025 – SCBA Set Donning & Doffing Training

• Practical demonstration on proper handling of SCBA sets for emergency situations.

📍 March 5, 2025 – Safety Quiz Competition

• Interactive quiz open to both company employees and contractual workers to test safety knowledge.

📍 March 6, 2025 – Fire Hose Drill Competition

• Teams of four will participate in a fire safety drill to test their emergency response skills.

📍 March 7, 2025 – Safety Poster Competition

• Employees and contract workers are invited to create posters promoting workplace safety.

📍 March 8, 2025 – Identifying Unsafe Acts and Conditions

• Participants will identify potential workplace hazards and discuss preventive measures.

📍 March 9, 2025 – Fire Extinguisher Demonstration

• Hands-on training in fire safety using extinguishers.

📍 March 10, 2025 – Mass Toolbox Talk & Walkthrough

• Employees will engage in workplace safety discussions and a safety walkthrough.

📍 March 11, 2025 – Closing Ceremony & Award Distribution

• Recognition of the Best Safetyman (employee/contract worker) and distribution of participation gifts.

Encouraging Maximum Participation

To make this event a success, we encourage all employees and contractual workers to actively participate in the planned competitions and training sessions. Department heads are requested to nominate employees for participation before the event dates.

By working together, we can create a safer workplace and reinforce the importance of safety, awareness, and preparedness in our daily operations.
